Are you an ambitious and talented Early Years teacher ready to take the next step into leadership? At Horsenden Primary School, we are looking for an exceptional EYFS practitioner to lead our Early Years phase for a fixed-term maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom teacher who is ready to develop their leadership skills within a supportive and experienced leadership team.

About the role

As EYFS Phase Leader, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Early Years team
  • Be accountable for the quality of education, provision and outcomes across Nursery and Reception
  • Drive high-quality teaching, inclusive practice and strong pupil progress
  • Use assessment effectively to identify priorities and improve outcomes
  • Support and develop colleagues through coaching, collaboration and professional dialogue
  • Work closely with senior leaders to contribute to whole-school improvement.
