About the school

Springhallow School is a unique, all age (4-19), special school, for pupils with Autism and a centre of expertise in the field of Autistic Spectrum Disorders.  Our Post-16 provision was opened in September 2019 and is based within its own premises in Greenford.  The role will be based at our P16 provision but will require time spent working across both school sites.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person to provide support to our students and their families, enabling them to receive the maximum benefit from the education provision made available to them here at Springhallow School.  The main purposes of the job are to:

  • Support students welfare and well-being (including mentoring)
  • Provide practical and emotional support for their parents and/or guardians
  • Provide the necessary liaison with statutory and voluntary services
  • Assist with assessment, meetings and planning for their special and social needs
  • Facilitate the organisation of a parent development focus group
